Adventure
Getting out and enjoying the natural world represents one of the greatest opportunities for campers at Weequahic. Whether it’s climbing, hiking, or practicing your outdoor living skills, we have everything adventurous kids need. Come and enjoy one of the most beautiful camp properties in the country!
Archery
What could be more ‘camp’ than archery? Our certified instructors teach both on our straight up archery range AND on our ever-evolving 3D range in the woods. Come learn to shoot arrows with precision with our great equipment and helpful staff.
Back-Country Cooking
Learn how to safely start a fire from scratch using everything from a match to a battery and steel wool to a starter stick. Then, learn to cook scrumptious meals, snacks, and dessert the campfire way!
Hiking
Whether hiking the ‘blueberry trails’ at Weequahic, exploring our local state parks, or braving a 13+ mile hike on the Appalachian Trail, our hikers have a lot of chances to explore the woods.

400′ Zip Line
SO. MUCH. FUN!! Whether going normal or ‘Spiderman’ style (upside down!), our kids can’t get enough of the zip line. It’s certainly the most fun way to get down off the wall!
Fishing
Let’s get a line wet! Sly Lake at Camp Weequahic offers a wide variety of fish that our anglers hope to coax onto the line. With two fishing docks along with boat fishing, you’ll have a lot of chances to land the big one!
Camping
With two separate camp rings in the woods of Weequahic, our campers get a chance to spend the night out inside a cozy tent with their buddies while cooking dinner and breakfast on an open fire.
Camper vs Wild
Can you build a shelter in the woods? Identify useful plants? Make a spear and go spearfishing? This unique program can help with all of those surprisingly useful skills!
Ropes Course
Our 50’ tall ropes course houses three different walls built for advancing skill levels along with ten other high ropes elements including the Caterpillar, Rope Traverse, Zip Line, and the every-popular Pamper Pole. All of Ropes Staff go through a five day training period and are supervised moment to moment to ensure our campers safety.
